Where: The Orange County Regional History Center 65 E. CentralWhen: 11:30am Wednesday, August 9th.Why: Ceremony Marking the hand off of the Dharma Bums ms. to the History Center for displayWho: YOU are invited to attend.
On Wednesday, August 9th at 11:30am, members of the Kerouac Project of Orlando board will be participating in a ceremony to celebrate our agreement with the Orange County Regional History Center to display Jack Kerouac's final draft manuscript of, "The Dharma Bums."
As many of you know, Kerouac wrote this book in the historic College Park house. The History Center already owns the one-of-a-kind Fred DeWitt photos of Kerouac producing this document. We think this is a perfect marriage and the ideal place for the manuscript to be displayed.
The Kerouac Project acquired the original manuscript in November, 2005 from a sister of Kerouac's widow, Stella.
We look forward to seeing you there!

A GREAT Job Opening in Paradise:
Hey, Scribblers: Nickole from Sarabande here. As you may know, I've been
doing some consulting work with the Palm Beach Poetry Festival, and
we're looking to make an additional marketing/pr hire. This is a
great milestone for us, and we hope to bring someone on board as soon
